ART OF THE DAY

AUTUMN IN TORONTO
24 x 24 Acrylic on canvas 2009
I've always love Toronto in the late fall, after the couloured leaves have gone and before snowfall. There are so many browns and it's like the city is going to sleep for the winter. I did CHURCH & WELLESLEY because it's the gay village in Toronto. For those that know the area, on can see MAPLE LEAF GARDENS at the bottom in the middle.
I'll be making prints of this which will be the first print run I've done. This will be included in the solo exhibit that opens on Thursday in Toronto. Should be a fun night.
Enjoy.
Next up: BARCELONA. (in orange)
